I pulled my first five hour shift at the resort today, as the Pool Monitor. It's sort of a new position at the place because non-members have been using the resorts private guest-only pool, and they all have to wear wristbands now.

Unfortunately, some of the guests have been given flimsy plastic bands, as opposed to the purple rubber bands, and the don't want to mess with them and keep them in their bags.

It made for an interesting day. Met a lot of people and they were all envious of the slim purple band I was wearing. Maybe Shelby and I can get something done and shift everyone to solid purple bands, which are easy to wear, and spot.

The job really puts me in the position of enforcer. I have the Sheriffs number to call if someone needs evicting, and Memorial Day is next weekend.

I found a great spot in the Tiki Bar to watch the pool, and we had live music for a few hours. The second pic is the singer.
