I just received an email from Lectric regarding my new, possibly damaged axle due to shipping, XP Trike. I had sent them the contents of my recent post, and they responded thus:

Hello Jim,

Thanks for reaching out!

During shipment these large boxes get dropped out of the back of trucks.

If it hits on a wheel wrong it can potentially damage the axle.

In most cases it is just the wheel but I would hate to send you out a new wheel and have the issue still be present.

If we do find that the axle is bent we would like to exchange the whole trike for you so you wont have to deal with the repairs.

Let us know when you have done the tests so we can proceed with getting this running properly.

I'm taking it to the bike shop in downtown Pensacola tomorrow morning. Hopefully it's just the wheel, but if not, I'm very grateful for their response.
