Marcia Amamoto was born to Japanese parents who met in the concentration camps. Her dad went on to build a successful nursery in San Mateo and sent Marci off to UC Berkeley where she graduated second in her class with a teaching degree.

One evening I was hanging out at my friend Milt's house with his wife Suzi and they invited her cousin Marci over for the evening, and we connected. She was just starting her first teaching job at an elementary school, soon discovered she wasn't into it, went into a business career, and we began living together.

We were both making good money and loved to spend it on trendy little French restaurants eating snails. One day we were partying with Dave and Pam (Miss Chinatown USA) up in Sacramento and decided to get married so we went to a little chapel. All I had was a puzzle ring, which I dropped, and ended up handing it to her to seal the deal.

Marci was my last wife, together about eight years. Towards the end we went to a marriage counselor and she landed in the guys hot tub up in the Oakland hills. They had an affair, I met Dawn, and it was over.
